About Darrell
Darrell and Ginnie came to Calvert County to attend a party of a friend. They immediately fell in love with the rural feel and atmosphere. They moved their family here a short time after and have built a life they both love and enjoy.

Darrell and Ginnie’s children attended public schools here in Calvert. They know Calvert County schools are top notch. Support and safety are a priority for our children, and the people who work there.
Protecting the rural atmosphere and feeling of Calvert County is a necessity and will be carried out with Darrell as a County Commissioner.
Clear and transparent Communication is key to successful relationships and working environments. Darrell will not just listen to our residents, but hear them as well and act upon the needs of our residents.
Construction inside of the county must be well thought out, strategic, and shared with the community. The process must be transparent and accepted by the people before it can proceed.
County Commissioners work for, and answer to, the people of Calvert County. That must be a tenet of the Commissioners and certainly will be for Darrell.
Support of the people who ensure our county runs and who protect us is paramount. From the first responders, nurses, firefighters, sheriff, and support staff- all will be supported by Darrell.
Our veterans, senior residents, and residents with special needs should receive the attention they deserve and will with Darrell.
Our farmers, fishermen and women, and dockworkers cannot be forgotten for the hard work and bounty they harvest. Their livelihoods are the very lifeblood of Calvert County and that will not be forgotten with Darrell.
Our environment of this wonderful place we are honored to call home is an oasis of safety, beauty, and wonderful people. Darrell will work to make sure it stays that way!
